Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy is excited to be able to continue to offer a pre-school program on the school campus in Aspinwall. The pre-school provides the same high quality educational program that is currently available in the kindergarten through eighth grade educational setting.

The pre-school teacher, Miss Erin Ransom, is a professional educator with Pennsylvania State Certification credentials in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. The curriculum is in accordance with the guidelines of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

A teacher aide supports the program, also with appropriate clearances.

CDTCA pre-school offers:

A three-day per week four-year old program on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning

A two-day per week three-year old session on Tuesday and Thursday morning

Each session is approximately two and one-half hours. Class size will not exceed twenty in the four-year old program and eighteen in the three-year old program.  If enrollment necessitates we will open an afternoon session in either of these age group areas.

Our pre-school calendar is congruent with the school calendar of Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy with the exception of starting and ending dates.  Our pre-school program commences on Monday, August 31, 2009 for the four-year olds and Tuesday, September 1, 2009 for the three-year olds and concludes on the Friday, May 28, 2010 prior to Memorial Day.

Our tuition rates are as follows:

Four Year Old Program $1050.00/year

Three Year Old Program $850.00/year

A $25.00 fee is due upon registration, which is non-refundable and will be credited toward total tuition. The registration fee may be waived under certain conditions (please contact the office for details). The remaining tuition balance will be due in nine equal installments (September 2009 through May 2010 inclusive).
