CDTCA Certificate Program

CHRIST THE DIVINE TEACHER CATHOLIC ACADEMY

The Certificate Program is a year round opportunity to earn credit toward your tuition.

Participating is easy!  An order form will be sent via e-mail every Friday.  Select from over 50 retail stores and restaurants.  They’re the same gift certificates that you purchase in stores.

The wonderful thing about our certificate program is that you put the regular household shopping dollars to work for you.  . These certificates can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline, and even dinning out.

Order forms;20102011 Order form.xls; must be printed, completed and sent in with your payment to the school or with your child on Tuesdays.  Orange labeled envelopes have been sent home with your child.  Please use these envelopes when placing orders.  Filled orders will be sent home with your child in this envelope.  If local merchant certificates are being ordered such as Giant Eagle, Community Market, Shop N Save, Town Drug, Labriola’s, or the Aspinwall Bookshop, they will be sent home that day.  Orders with retail certificates and/or a combination of retail and local orders will be sent home on Thursdays.  All orders are placed on Tuesday by 9:00am and returned on Thursday.  During the school year, local merchant certificates may be purchased daily at the school office until 2:30.  In addition, a limited supply of selected retail stores and restaurants such as Wendy’s, Panera, and gas cards are on hand at the school office

CREDIT POLICY

1.           Credit earned from April 1, 2010 thru March 31, 2011 will be applied to the 2010-2011 School billing year beginning May, 2010.  Credits earned after March 31, 2011 will be applied to the 2011-2012 school year.

2.           There is no limit to the amount of credit you can earn.

3.           Credit earned from the certificate program will first be applied to the final tuition payment due in May.  If the tuition payment is paid in full and additional credit remains, it will be rolled over to the following tuition year.  Graduating or non-returning families’ extra credit will be credited to the school.  For example, if your monthly tuition payment is $200 and you earn $250, your last month’s tuition payment will be fulfilled and you will have a $50 credit toward tuition for the following school year.

4.           When the full tuition is paid in advance for the current school year, the earned credits for the current school year will be applied to the tuition for the next school year if the family is returning. For families not returning for the next school year, credits earned by March 31 of the current year will be credited to the school.

5.           No credits will be issues to parents directly.

6.            Credit statements will be sent out in January and April.
